I must go to the bat cave!!!
My heart is fragile.
It cries over the villain
and breaks with every
stolen innocence.
Maybe that is why
my heart is still alone.
The slightest brush
of fingers
and it may burst
into flames.
Cute
The gentleman companion and I have moved, temporarily, to a little neighborhood in Berkeley called Elmwood. After two marvelous evenings at my cousin’s place in Oakland, we were pleased to stop boring friends and family with Bay Area housing woes. The views are gorgeous, and there is a fantastic brunch place called Rick and Ann’s right in front of the historic Claremont Hotel. I’m sure they don’t need any more advertising, but I had a very good corn waffle with an egg and a side of bacon. I nearly drank the tiny warm mug of maple syrup out of excitement.
